I don’t know if “oatmeal raising cookies” was deliberate or a typo, but I’ve been having fun playing with the images that the phrase brings to mind (imagining an oatmeal cookie as hot air balloon, for instance). So, thanks for the recipe, and thanks for the wordplay (whether intended or not).

I think next time I’ll bake them a little longer to get them more crisp, almost like a very big granola cluster. The cookies were a bit soggy the next day, but I think baking them a little longer would take care of that. Like most cookies these were really good warm
