Don't forget about growing your own! I lived in a tiny apartment with a small balcony and successfully grew strawberries (smaller ever bearing variety) and a smaller variety of carrot! They just need water and liquid seaweed.

It is amazing what happens to our food nowadays. I also like the "buy local" mentality. Often times small local farmers provide a great product.

Hi there! As far as I know, ADD or ADHD does not originate from eating certain foods. ADD and ADHD people were born that way already because of the missing neurotransmitters in their brain. But it can be heightened by taking in sugary foods. That is why it is important to have healthy foods depending on the person's needs. And the basic of it all is going organic and clean.

The post provides very good information. I was unaware of such a thing like acid wash. Reading your post has set me thinking about the fruits ad vegetables we get in the market and how safe are they! Thanks for sharing such interesting information.

Thank you!
And now with that study coming out about the possible link between pesticides and ADD, this info is even more valuable.
(Yesterday a fellow on NPR said that conventional food is full of chemicals, organics are too expensive, and the only option is to starve to death. I thought that was pretty funny!)
